Loose Ferrets is back, but doesn't mean I'm back all the way yet. So I present to you a lame joke about my backgrounds from back in the day.

It has been a long, long, long few months. Let's start with a new blank strip.

2013 has been interesting. Many events have transpired. Nothing that would really keep me from doing the comic, mind you, just events that through my mental landscape for a loop.

Loose Ferrets is returning. Soon. I won't say when because that will most likely jinx me. I'm just posting this sketchy thing here to show that /something/ is happening...

Loose Ferrets is coming back next Tuesday. Just need to get my dusty art gears back into shape.

This old comic is one I made a few weeks into my new job as an IT assistant in a small school district in rural Wyoming. Now, three years later, I am leaving that job for a new job.

Between the new job preparations and the moving-to-Salt-Lake-City preparations, I have not had the time to focus on Loose Ferret production.

I know this is not helping my traffic at all, and I know that you may have seen these comics if you've looked at my art archives other places...

Still, don't want to let this place get too quiet, so you're doomed to look at old art and gift art for a few more weeks. If you are willing to whip up a guest strip, be my guest. Just send me a note at looseferrets at gmail dot com.

Sorry to have another little hiatus so soon after the last one. Don't worry, I'm digging up old sub-par stuff from the archives to amuse you. I assure you'll be back and flailing normally after Further Confusion. If you happen to be there, say hi!

Now, with Christmas almost upon us, I am properly sapped. I think it will do my mind, body, and Inspiration Ferrets good to just relax for a couple weeks until 2013.

2013 will hopefully lead to developments for Loose Ferrets. Including possibly:
- advertising places so more peeps find this comic!
- improved art style!
- backgrounds!
- more anthropomorphized things!
- less hiatuses!
- back logs so I can slump over and no one will ever know!

2012 was a nice year with lots of shiny things. Still, it is my hope that 2013 will be even better. Thanks so much for reading this odd little comic and hope to see you as the comic keeps scampering onward.
